Taize Prayer is an ecumenical meditative service, in which one invites God’s presence to penetrate one’s innermost being. This form of prayer comes from the Christian monastic community of Taize, located in the heart of the Burgundy region in France. This unique and deeply moving form of worship seeks to unite and inspire people of all ages and Christian faiths. The service includes repetitive song and chant, scripture reading and silent meditation.
