Pope, Archbishop Vigneron on New President
 
In a telegram from Vatican City, Pope Benedict XVI sends along his good wishes for President Barack Obama on Inauguration Day. At the same time, he expresses his concern for the dignity, equality and rights of all Americans, especially the poor, the outcast and those who have no voice. From his office at the Oakland diocese, Archbishop Vigneron tells The Detroit News he is concerned over the incoming administration's position on abortion.
