Civic and Religious Leaders Gather for Prayer Breakfast

Over 100 civic and religious leaders gathered in downtown Detroit on Monday, February 2, to welcome Archbishop Allen Vigneron.

Those speaking during the 90-minute prayer breakfast included:

Imam Hassan Qazwini, Islamic Center of America

Rabbi Joseph Krackoff, Congregation Shaarey Zedek

Rev. Dr. Oscar W. King III, president, Council of Baptist Pastors

Cardinal Adam Maida, Archbishop emeritus

The event came just five days after Detroit's new archbishop was installed at a special Mass held at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.
