This week, Archbishop Allen Vigneron announced the following appointments:
Fr. Aaron DePeyster, appointed administrator of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, Detroit, effective July 1. Fr. DePeyster has been serving as associate pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, Lapeer.
Fr. Socorro Fernandes, SAC, appointed pastor of Our Lady of Loretto Parish, Redford Township, effective July 1. Fr. Fernandes has been serving as associate pastor of St. Andrew Parish, Sag Harbor, N.Y.
Fr. Robert Kotlarz, appointed pastor, Our Lady Queen of Heaven Parish, Detroit, effective July 1, in addition to ongoing responsibilities as pastor of Our Lady of Good Counsel and St. Raymond parishes, Detroit.
Fr. Ezequiel Mondragon, appointed associate pastor of St. Stephen/Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, Detroit and Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, Detroit, effective July 1. Fr. Mondragon has been serving as pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Imlay City.
Fr. Jaroslaw Pilus, appointed administrator of SS. Peter & Paul Parish (Westside), Detroit, and St. Suzanne/Our Lady Gate of Heaven Parish, Detroit, effective July 1. Fr. Pilus has been serving as associate pastor of St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Shelby Township.
Fr. Greg Rozborski, appointed associate pastor of St. Joseph Parish, South Lyon. Fr. Rozborski has been serving in the Archdiocese of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Fr. Edward Vella, CSSR, appointed associate pastor of St. Joseph and St. Timothy parishes, Trenton, effective July 1. Fr. Vella has been serving as associate pastor at St. Alphonsus Parish, Grand Rapids.
Deacon Eric Fedewa, ordained in Sacred Heart Major Seminary Chapel on May 15 and appointed transitional deacon, St. Frances Cabrini Parish, Allen Park, effective June 1.
Deacon Stephen Pullis, ordained in Sacred Heart Major Seminary Chapel on May 15 and appointed transitional deacon, Guardian Angels Parish, Clawson, effective June 1.
