Archbishop Vigneron to Ordain Six Men, Five for Detroit

Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron will ordain six men to the Catholic priesthood, five of them for the Archdiocese of Detroit, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 9844 Woodward Avenue, Detroit. The public is invited to attend. Those being ordained are: Raymond Arwady, Philip Ching, David Cybulski, Charles White IV, Michael Wilkes and Noel Jean Neguim. They will greet family and friends following their ordination at a reception on the cathedral grounds.

Raymond Arwady, 36, of Sterling Heights is the son of Lester and Judy Arwady. His home parish is SS. Cyril and Methodius, Sterling Heights. He grew up attending Our Lady of Victory, Northville, and St. Thomas More, Troy. Deacon Raymond Edward Arwady
Philip Ching, 26, of Royal Oak is the son of Felipe and Mila Ching. His home parish is National Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak. Deacon Philip Tolentino Ching

David Cybulski, 36, of Macomb is the son of Edward and the late Joann Cybulski. His home parish is St. Isidore, Macomb Township. He grew up attending St. Kieran, Shelby Township.

Charles White IV, 30, of Sterling Heights is the son of Charles White III and Nancy Glover. His home parish is Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Grotto) in Detroit. He grew up attending Memorial Baptist Church in Sterling Heights. Deacon Charles White IV
Michael Wilkes, 26, of Allen Park is the son of Frank and Judy Wilkes. His home parish is St. Frances Cabrini, Allen Park. Deacon Michael James Wilkes
Noel Jean Neguim, 32, of Douala, Cameroon, who graduated from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, will be ordained for service in his home diocese, the Archdiocese of Doaula.

Three other men also graduated from Sacred Heart Major Seminary this year and will be ordained in their own home diocese. They are Leni Cubas-Julca, 31, of the Diocese of Cajamarca, Peru; Mark Rutherford, 26, of the Diocese of Lansing; and Rudy Zoma, 28, of the Chaldean Eparchy of St. Thomas the Apostle.
