Catholic, Interfaith Services to Honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Please note the following two religious events this weekend in honor of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.:
Sunday, Jan. 17: A third annual interfaith prayer service, including participation from Christians, Jews and Muslims, will take place at 3 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Dearborn. Sacred Heart Church is on Michigan Avenue at Military Street. Monday, Jan. 18: Detroit Archbishop Allen Vigneron will celebrate the Archdiocese of Detroit’s 10th annual mass to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The liturgy will be at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 9844 Woodward Ave. in Detroit.
